Itinerary
DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN LUANG PRABANG (-/-/-)
Upon arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport, you will be welcomed by a local guide and driver. You will then be transferred to your hotel. Check-in is available from 14:00 onwards. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax or explore nearby areas at your own pace.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2 - AUTHENTIC LUANG PRABANG – CITY TOUR (B/-/-).
An optional early morning start gives you the opportunity to witness the traditional alms-giving ceremony, where monks receive offerings from locals. This is a unique and culturally significant ritual in Laos. Afterward, visit a local fresh market before returning to the hotel for breakfast.
Begin your city tour with a visit to Wat Visoun, known for its distinctive Thad Makmo stupa. Continue to Wat Aham, followed by Vat Xiengthong, one of the most iconic and photographed temples in Luang Prabang, located near the Mekong and Khan rivers.
Next, visit Wat Sene Souk Haram, also known as the “Temple of 100,000 Treasures,” famous for its striking ochre and gold design.
In the afternoon, explore the former Royal Palace, now the National Museum. Continue to Wat Mai, renowned for its intricate golden bas-relief.
In the evening, enjoy free time to explore the Luang Prabang Night Market.

DAY 3 - LUANG PRABANG – MEKONG CRUISE – PAK OU CAVES (B/-/-)
After breakfast, travel to Ban XiengMene village and enjoy a walking tour to experience local life. Continue to Wat Long Khoun, a historic monastery that once served as a retreat for Lao royalty.
Board a traditional long-tail boat for a scenic cruise along the Mekong River. Enjoy views of the surrounding landscapes and observe rural life along the riverbanks.
Visit the Pak Ou Caves, located at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Ou rivers. These caves house hundreds of Buddha statues and are an important pilgrimage site.
On the return journey, stop at Ban Xangkhong village, known for traditional weaving. You may also participate in hands-on activities with local artisans.

DAY 4 - LUANG PRABANG – FARMING EXPERIENCE – KUANG SI FALLS (B/-/-)
After breakfast, visit a local farm to learn about traditional rice cultivation. Participate in hands-on activities such as planting rice and observing farming techniques, including ploughing with buffalo. You will also learn about rice-based products.
In the afternoon, travel through scenic countryside to Kuang Si Waterfalls. Enjoy a short walk along the trails and visit the nearby bear rescue center. The waterfalls feature stunning turquoise pools where you can relax and take in the natural surroundings.
Return to Luang Prabang in the evening.

After breakfast, enjoy free time until your transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
