Itinerary
DAY 1 - Arrival in Leh & Acclimatization.
Upon arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport, you will be welcomed by a local guide and driver. You will then be transferred to your hotel. Check-in is available from 14:00 onwards. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax or explore nearby areas at your own pace.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2 - Leh Local Sightseeing.
After breakfast, explore:
- Indus & Zanskar River Sangam
- Gurudwara Pathar Sahib
- Magnetic Hill
- Hall of Fame (Kargil War Museum)
Return to hotel for overnight stay in Leh.
DAY 3 - Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
- Distance: 160 km | Duration: ~9–10 hours
- Drive via Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft – one of the highest motorable roads)
- Reach Nubra Valley (Hunder/Deskit)
Activities:
- Explore Deskit & Hunder villages
- Camel safari in sand dunes (optional)
Dinner & overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
DAY 4 - Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake.
- After breakfast at hotel.
- Distance: 200 km | Duration: ~6 hours
- Drive to Pangong Lake (high-altitude saltwater lake shared by India & China)
- Enjoy scenic beauty and changing lake colors
- Dinner & overnight stay at Pangong camp
