On Day 1, you’ll arrive in Washington DC, where our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. You will then visit the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, followed by free time to explore the city before returning to the hotel for the night. On Day 2, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a half-day sightseeing tour, which includes iconic landmarks such as Capitol Hill, the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and the Pentagon. Afterward, you will check out from the hotel and travel to Philadelphia. DAY 1 - Arrival in Guwahati | Transfer to Shillong | Leisure Day
DAY 2 - Transfer to Cherrapunji | Cherrapunji Sightseeing Tour
After checking out, begin your drive to Cherrapunji. En route, make a stop to witness the stunning Elephant Falls, a beautiful three-tiered waterfall. Upon arrival in Cherrapunji, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city. Marvel at the spectacular Seven Sisters Waterfall and the majestic NohKaLikai Falls, the tallest waterfall in India. Explore the fascinating Mawsmai and Arwah Caves, renowned for their impressive limestone formations. Later, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 3 - Trek to Nongriat Double Decker Living Root Bridge
In the morning, you’ll be driven from the hotel to Tyrna Village to begin your thrilling trek to Nongriat. Along the way, enjoy the vibrant and scenic landscapes of Meghalaya. Upon reaching Tyrna Village, embark on a climb of 3,500 steps to reach Nongriat and explore the remarkable Double Decker Living Root Bridge. For an additional cost, you can extend your hike to the stunning Rainbow Falls. After the trek, return to the hotel from Tyrna Village for an overnight stay.
DAY 4 - Transfer to Dawki via Mawlynnong | Trek to Single Decker Living Root Bridge
After checking out of the hotel, drive towards Dawki, with a stop at Mawlynnong, renowned as the ‘Cleanest Village in Asia.’ From Mawlynnong, embark on a trek to the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai Village, and take time to admire the intriguing Balancing Rock. Once your trek is complete, continue your journey to Dawki. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, and enjoy some free time to explore the town at your leisure. We recommend visiting the crystal-clear Umngot River, one of the cleanest rivers in India.
DAY 5 - Transfer to Shillong | En Route Sightseeing
After checking out, begin your transfer to Shnongpdeng Village, where you can enjoy thrilling adventure activities such as kayaking and boating (at an additional cost). Following this, continue your journey towards Shillong. Along the way, stop to admire the picturesque Krang Shuri Waterfalls, nestled within lush forests. You will also have the opportunity to hike along the beautiful trails of Laitlum Canyon, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Upon arrival in Shillong, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 6 - Transfer to Guwahati | Visit Kamakhya Devi Temple | Departure
After checking out of the hotel in the morning, begin your transfer to Guwahati. Upon arrival, visit the Kamakhya Devi Temple, one of the most ancient and significant centers of Tantric worship, dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya. Following the temple visit, continue your journey to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward departure. This marks the end of your memorable trip.
